The Giraffe House is unlike most of Chip and Joanna’s updates. Rather than going for the farmhouse vibe, the interiors more closely match the exterior of the home and lean towards a modern and mid-century cottage style. The living room space has both bungalow cottage and modern elements that work in unison to create a cozy, relaxing space.

We love the combination of the vertical shiplap, concrete and wood fireplace and mantel. The hardwood floors are laid in a herringbone pattern and help add charm and detail to the living room.
